At Confident Kids Performing Arts School, we believe every child deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive through the performing arts. Our programs are carefully designed for students from Preschool through to Year 12, with each stage building on the skills, confidence, and friendships developed along the way. As students grow, classes increase in length and complexity, allowing them to refine their technique, expand their creativity, and take on new challenges in a supportive and encouraging environment.
From Grade 6 onwards, students join our Inspire Academy, a specialised program tailored to the needs of older students who are ready to further develop their abilities. With age-appropriate training, advanced technical development, and increased performance opportunities, Inspire Academy supports students as they continue to grow as confident performers and individuals.
While technical excellence is an important part of every program, we place equal value on the life skills students develop in our classes. Through teamwork, communication, resilience, respect, and leadership, our students build meaningful friendships, develop strong social connections, and gain confidence that extends well beyond the studio. Whether your child is taking their very first class or preparing for their senior school years, there is a place for them to belong, learn, and shine at Confident Kids.
Our programs are thoughtfully grouped by age to ensure every child learns in an environment that matches their developmental stage. Younger students benefit from shorter, engaging lessons that suit their attention span and encourage a love of movement and music, while older students enjoy longer classes that allow for greater technical development and more in-depth learning.
Our youngest performers begin with our Ready Set programs, including Ready Set Move With Me, Ready Set Dance, Ready Set Ballet, and Ready Set Acro. These nationally recognised preschool programs provide the perfect introduction to the performing arts through fun, imaginative, and age-appropriate learning.
As children enter Prep to Grade 1, they can enjoy specialised combination classes that bring together complementary dance styles along with music and acting lessons, helping them build strong foundational skills while keeping lessons varied and engaging. From Grade 2 onwards, lesson durations increase as students develop the focus, coordination, and ability to absorb more detailed instruction. This gradual progression ensures every child is challenged appropriately while continuing to build confidence, technique, and a lifelong love of the performing arts.
