Confident Kids Performing Arts School is proud to offer Stage & Screen classes in Cranbourne West. These engaging classes combine singing, dancing and acting to help students develop confidence, creativity and well-rounded performance skills for both stage and screen.
Classes include vocal technique, acting exercises, scene work, musical theatre choreography, audition skills, script work, character development and on-camera performance, giving students the opportunity to grow as versatile performers in a fun and supportive environment.
Students have the opportunity to perform in a stage musical as the ensemble and record a scene for our acting screening at a cinema. For students looking for lead and supporting roles in our musical, we would suggest attending our Production Class.
Stage & Screen classes provide children with the opportunity to develop strong communication skills, confidence, and creativity while exploring the exciting world of music theatre and acting. Classes encourage resilience, teamwork, problem-solving, and self-expression while giving children the confidence to speak in front of others and embrace new challenges.

No. Stage & Screen classes welcome students of all experience levels. Whether your child is completely new to acting, singing, or dancing, or has previous experience, our teachers provide a supportive environment where every student can grow.
While both classes work towards our musical, our Stage & Screen is suitable for all ages and takes part in the group singing, dancing, and acting numbers. For those in grade 3 or above looking to audition for lead or supporting roles, these students will need to enrol into Production Class or our Musical Extension Program.
Stage performing focuses on projecting to a live audience through voice, movement, and expression, while screen acting teaches students how to perform naturally for the camera using subtle facial expressions and realistic performances. Our classes introduce students to both styles.

Yes. Students participate in performances throughout the year, giving them the opportunity to showcase their acting, singing, and dancing skills and build confidence in front of an audience. Students will also have an opportunity to work in front of the camera.
Absolutely. Performing develops confidence, clear communication, vocal projection, and the ability to think on your feet. These skills are valuable for school presentations, interviews, and everyday life.
Yes. Many children join acting classes to build confidence. Our encouraging teachers create a welcoming environment where students can participate at their own pace while gradually becoming more comfortable performing and expressing themselves.
