Holiday Program
Every holidays, we focus on thoughtfully designing these programs in response to the feedback and engagement we receive from our students and our families. We are super excited for this holiday’s sessions and can’t wait to share them with all of you!
Ready Set Families (Toddlers and Preschoolers)
As outlined in our Important Dates Notice, our Ready Set students will have one week off for the holidays. These classes start back as usual the week starting September 28.
We have found that having only one week off is the best way to support our youngest students in remaining confident and continuing their skill progression, whilst still getting a rest 🙂 Make-ups are of course always available for weeks students can’t attend.
Prep - Grade 6
Please note: School-age classes start back as usual the week starting October 5.
We are SUPER excited for two FUN-FILLED days!!
We had so much fun last holiday! We’ve aimed to create an inspiring, joyous and affordable holiday program for our families and students so that we can continue having more fun this Spring!
Both days offer either:
- The program 9:00am – 3:00pm
- Extended care 8:00am – 5:30pm – during the extended care time (8:00-9:00am and 3:00-5:30pm), students take part in quiet activities like board games and watching movies
Please note: students are required to bring their own food and drinks. No nuts, please.
Day 1 – Thursday October 1: FLIP, GROW, PLAY!
A special day built on friendship, movement and fun!!
The session will include:
- An acrobatic and silk workshop
- A dance and wellbeing workshop (run by our staff, through the incredible external program Project Skip!).
- Pyjama Party (change into your PJ’s or comfy clothes and grab some cushions for an afternoon of music, movies and crafts!)
Day 2 – Friday October 2: Music, Moves and Magic!!
An awesome day learning songs, dances and scenes from our favourite movies and musicals! The session will include:
- Learning an upbeat and exciting Jazz routine!
- A singing class where we will learn a song.
- And an acting class focusing on performance and creativity.
- We will then put it all together for one awesome routine!
- And there will be crafts!!
Senior Students (Grade 6 and Above)
For our senior students, we may offer a couple of “Pop-up” workshops. We are aware that many of our students are performing at the Melbourne Royal Show on one of our Holiday Program dates. We will send more information as opportunities arise 🙂
