Confident Kids Performing Arts School is proud to offer our Production Team for students who are passionate about musical theatre and performing. This class combines acting, singing, and dance as students work together to rehearse and present an exciting production in a fun, supportive, and creative environment. Students in our Production class in Cranbourne West make up the lead and supporting roles in our musical. We strongly suggest all students in Production Team also attend Stage and Screen classes to ensure they are across the full musical, including ensemble pieces and for skill development (as time in Production Team is limited and often required for rehearsing the show).
Students develop their performance skills through rehearsals, character work, vocal training, choreography, and stagecraft while building confidence and enjoying the experience of bringing a production to life as part of a team.
Production Team gives students the opportunity to audition for lead and support roles and experience the excitement of working towards a full theatrical performance while developing valuable performing arts skills. By combining acting, singing, and dance, students become versatile performers who build confidence, creativity, stage presence, and musicality. Rehearsing as part of a cast also strengthens teamwork, communication, problem solving, and time management as students work together towards a shared goal.

Production Team is open to students enrolled in a Stage & Screen class who would like the extra challenge on taking on a lead or supporting role in our musical production. Productions and roles will require an audition or teacher recommendation, depending on the age group and production.
No. Students of varying experience levels are welcome. Our teachers support every performer to develop their skills while encouraging them to participate with confidence.
Students rehearse scenes, songs, and choreography while developing characters, learning stagecraft, and preparing for performances. Every class contributes towards bringing a production to life.
Yes. Production Team students work towards live performances, giving them the opportunity to showcase everything they have learned while experiencing the excitement of performing on stage.
Students build confidence, communication, teamwork, creativity, musicality, stage presence, and performance skills. They also develop resilience, responsibility, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a cast.
Absolutely. While Stage & Screen is a prerequisite for Production Team, it is also an excellent addition to dance, singing, and acting classes. It allows students to apply the skills they learn across multiple disciplines while gaining valuable experience in musical theatre and live performance.
