PREP - GRADE 1
We found the amount of classes on offer for this age group was overwhelming for our families, so have created class combos that we feel will ensure the greatest skill development for our students in genres that compliment each other perfectly!
We value knowing and supporting each individual child and family.
ALL students are welcome at our school, and should your child have additional needs, please let us know so we can support you to find the best class that will help them to shine! Similarly, if your child has specific goals and you are looking for additional guidance, we would love to support you!
CLASSES ON OFFER
Classical / Lyrical Class
This class covers classical ballet and lyrical. The perfect combination for any dancer who loves floating around the house, and expressing themselves through movement.
Optional SFD classical exams are available.
Jazz/Hip Hop
Class
This class covers jazz and hip hop! The perfect combination for children who love dancing to the radio and current upbeat music. This class is for kids who love to groove and move.
Optional SFD jazz exams are available.
Acrobatics
This class covers the incredible Acro Arts acrobatics program!
The perfect class for kids who love to cartwheel, tumble, handstand and be upside down!
This class also works on strength and flexibility.
Stage and Screen
This class covers music theatre (singing and broadway jazz), as well as acting for the stage and screen. Perfect for budding performers, kids who love playing characters, and those looking to grow in confidence.
Boys B Street Crew
A class designed especially for boys, this class includes Hip Hop and Breakdancing.
It is so much more than just a dance class. It is a community of boys across Australia who love to dance!
Tap Class
This class covers tap and rhythm. It is perfect for dancers who love to make lots of noise, and those who love listening to the beat!
Optional SFD classical exams available.
Extension and Performance Teams
These teams are for dancers who would like to work hard and want the opportunity to perform at events throughout the year. Extra commitment to the team is required.
Singing and
Music Classes
We also offer singing, keyboard, guitar, violin and drum classes! For this age group we encourage the longer group classes to gain strong basic technique and music theory, before considering to solo classes (however these are available).

Fees
ENROLMENT FEE - There is an enrolment fee for new students of $20.00.

The below does not include Performance Team and Hip Hop Competition Crews.
All classes are paid by the term.
GROUP DANCE/SINGING/ACRO/ACTING CLASSES
30 minute class = $16.20
45 minute class = $18.30
1 hour class = $20.50
1.5 hour class = $23.70
SOLO SINGING/DANCE/MUSIC PRICES (NOT included in group class discounts)
30 minutes = $37.00
45 minutes and 1 hour classes available on request
GROUP MUSIC CLASSES
$26.00
The length of group classes is dependant on the number of students enrolled
2 or 3 students - 30 minutes
4 or 5 students - 45 minutes
6 or 7 students - 1 hour
If you require other arrangements (eg external funding), please let us know so we can support you.
Public holidays and shorter and longer terms will be adjusted accordingly.
Not included: Extension Teams, Troupes and Performance Teams, Music Classes, Solo and Duo Classes (these are added separately).
ADDITIONAL COSTS
Please note: We do our very best to ensure all additional costs are kept to an absolute minimum while providing professional quality experiences.
We know dance, singing and acting can be expensive, and we feel classes should be accessible for all, so work hard to ensure this is possible. We offer all of the fun additional options such as costume photos and concert videos, but these are optional to order and not compulsory. We also focus on providing top quality costumes to hire to keep costs down and ensure parents don't need to sew.
Performance Fees for 2026 remain the same as 2025. These are due by July 1:
DANCE/ACROBATICS
Performance Fee = $35
Concert T-shirt = $25
Costumes Hire (2 per class) = $35 each
Total Due by July 1 = $130
For those doing more than one class, extra costumes are charged at $35 per costume Hire (2 required per class attended).
STAGE AND SCREEN / PRODUCTION CLASS
Performance Fee = $30 (Musical)
Performance Fee = $30 (Screening)
Costume Hire (1 per class) = $35
Filming Fee = $35 - this helps cover the extra time and cost spent filming, editing and converting
scenes.
Total Due by July 1 = $130
SCREEN TEAM
Performance Fee = $30 (Mid Year Screening)
Performance Fee = $30 (Screening)
Filming Fee x 2 = $35 (Mid Year and End of Year) - this helps cover the extra time and cost spent filming, editing and converting scenes.
Total Due by July 1 = $130
MUSIC AND SINGING STUDENTS
Performance Fee = $30 (Mid Year Performance)
Performance Fee = $30 (End of Year Performance)
Total Due by July 1 = $60
THERE ARE 2 OPTIONS FOR METHOD OF PAYMENT IN 2025
OPTION 1 - AUTOPAY
Please note: Performance Fees are charged in Term 2.
Each term is calculated and broken into three equal payments, paid on the first of the month.
Term 1 Fees - January 1 (Payment 1), February 1 (Payment 2), March 1 (Payment 3)
Term 2 Fees - April 1 (Payment 1), May 1 (Payment 2), June 1 (Payment 3)
Term 3 Fees - July 1 (Payment 1), August 1 (Payment 2), September 1 (Payment 3)
Term 4 Fees - October 1 (Payment 1), November 1 (Payment 2), December 1 (Payment 3)
The below costs are an example of a standard 10 week term. Please note, some terms are 9 weeks, others are 11 weeks, fees are adjusted accordingly. Public Holidays are credited throughout the year.
ONE GROUP CLASS (30 minutes) = $54.00 per month
ONE GROUP CLASS (45 minutes) = $67.10 per month
ONE GROUP CLASS (1 hour) = $73.90 per month
Additional classes will be discounted at the following:
2 classes = 10% discount on class fees
3 classes = 15% discount on class fees
4 classes = 20% discount on class fees
5 classes or more = 25% discount on class fees
Solo dance, music and singing classes will be added to the monthly fee for those booking these classes.
OPTION 2 - PAYING BY THE TERM WITH PERFORMANCE FEES DUE BY JULY 1
When paying by the term, class fees are due PRIOR to the start of the term via bank transfer. A 10% late fee will be added from week 2 of term.
If choosing to pay by the term, performance fees are due separately.
ALL Performance Fees are due by July 1.

MAKE UPS AND REFUNDS
GROUP CLASSES
For our group classes we have always accommodated unlimited make ups within the term of the missed class (subject to availability), however as group classes are a team activity, we ask families to please choose a class time they can commit to each week. Attending different classes each week will not support student's development, both in relation to skills and friendships. We also ask families to communicate absences to our office prior to class. This will be a requirement to be able to book a make up. Notifying the office of absences allows space for other students waiting for make ups and ensures we are all supporting each other.
SOLO CLASSES
Choosing to take solo classes requires additional commitment. Teachers are paid for their time, whether or not students attend. We do not offer make up classes for solo classes. Refunds for solo classes are also not available. We understand that for some it may be difficult to commit each week, we encourage these students to attend group classes with unlimited make ups. We thank you for you understanding and support to ensure we can continue to offer solo opportunities.
FEE POLICY
Enrolment is by the term. Refunds and credits are not offered for part participation in a term, unless enrolling part way through the term. Two weeks notice is required when cancelling direct debit payments for the start of a new term.
UNIFORM AND CORRECT SHOES

END OF YEAR CONCERT (DANCE AND ACROBATICS)
Each year students are invited to take part in our end of year concert to celebrate all they have learnt throughout the year.
Tan Leotards (girls) and black singlets (boys) are compulsory for all students at concert, in line with our backstage child safety standards.
Tights for Concert - required for dance and stage and screen students students.
Concert tickets for family and friends.
OPTIONAL COSTS TO BE AWARE OF
Optional excursions and social events throughout the year.
Concert Video - these are offered for purchase to keep!
Costume Photos - these are offered for purchase as a keepsake of each routine!
